The Montreal Impact Foundation is continuing its commitment to serving our local communities by unveiling the 2026 application process for the installation and inauguration of mini multi-sport fields.
Originally launched in 2024, the Foundation’s mini multi-sport field project will ultimately see the construction of 10 mini-fields over five years at a rate of two new facilities per year. Since the project’s founding, the municipalities of Val-des-Bois, Les Coteaux, Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts and the city of Longueuil have already benefited from this ambitious initiative.
Wishing to expand its impact and collaborate with new partners, the Foundation wants to continue offering accessible, high-quality sports facilities to young people and their families.
The Foundation is now inviting any interested communities to submit their applications to host a mini multi-sport field starting in the summer of 2026!
The multisport mini-fields are built on an asphalt or concrete surface with an acrylic coating, that enables the practice of several sports. They are surrounded by a modular galvanized steel structure. This project is part of a vision of accessibility and welcoming for young people, with the collaboration of local partners dedicated to improving the quality of life of children and their families. This initiative offers young people a safe space in which to play and move around.
