{"id":1846,"date":"2024-09-23T15:22:40","date_gmt":"2024-09-23T15:22:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fondation.impactmontreal.com\/?p=1846"},"modified":"2024-09-23T15:23:32","modified_gmt":"2024-09-23T15:23:32","slug":"la-11e-coupe-centraide-presentee-par-bmo-permet-de-recolter-428-000","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fondation.impactmontreal.com\/en\/la-11e-coupe-centraide-presentee-par-bmo-permet-de-recolter-428-000\/","title":{"rendered":"11th edition of Centraide Cup presented by BMO raises $428,000"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>MONTREAL \u2013<\/strong>&nbsp;The 11th edition of the Centraide Cup, presented on September 7 and 8 at Stade Saputo, raised a record $428,000 for Centraide of Greater Montreal and the Montreal Impact Foundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>More than 500 employees, representing around 20 companies, gathered on the CF Montr\u00e9al fields to take part in the benefit soccer tournament presented by BMO Financial Group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe thank the organizations and their employees for working with us to strengthen the social safety net,\u201d said Claude Pinard, President and CEO of Centraide of Greater Montreal. \u201cWithout the essential support of companies and our partners, this unifying event could not take place. Their efforts will support community organizations that come to the aid of families and young people facing major challenges such as precariousness and isolation.
